Lazy Kind of Day

Well, it's one of those days where you want to rest and relax but once late afternoon hits you feel very bad about doing it. I mean, I had very good intentions like most other days to keep the ball rolling smoothly. But. I. wasn't. motivated. So, the children watched a few movies while I looked over bills and lied down and zoned out. Well....we had lunch and umm..... of course we needed a nap. I went to the dollar store right down the road and picked up a few essentials. I came home and looked through the mail. With intentions to write out bills, I hear a knock on the door and it's a dear friend who stopped by to bless us with some clothes and canning jars. Of course, the bills were pushed to the side (what's another day anyway?) and I go through the clothes. I join them with another batch of clothes given to us just yesterday for Brittany and me and now they are in the wash.

So, tonight I think I need to read something to motivate me to get moving. On the defensive....I wasn't doing too good yesterday. My body is not behaving so well right now. It's not baby related so that's a great relief but it's an uncomfortably, painful condition. I am debating on going through it with the doctor or just hoping for it to go away. On the flipside, I feel better today moreso than yesterday and it might be from all this resting....of which I'll be paying for later when having to catch up.

Along the lines of being blessed, boy, I am so thankful for the showering of blessings this week! Here's a few of which doesn't even begin to show the full picture:
~ Sunday a lady at church gave us some shirts for our oldest boy
~ We get to eat Little Ceasar's pizza and pick up a few essentials before coming home to rest after church.
~ Monday we go to CVS and I run in to catch a bunch of deals that will stock us up on a lot of goodies that will last at least through next month. Yay!
~ The children were most happy to go to the library as well as we haven't been in a very long time. Samuel got his library card and all was very well.
~ My parents come over and bless us with some clothes for Brittany and myself(after baby comes) that was given to them by my aunt. My aunt buy nice things and then wears them only a few times and gives the stuff away.
~ We have had rain, rain, rain. I LOVE it! We don't have a garden but I love it! It's been so good as it'll rain then the sun comes out and so we have the best of both worlds all in one.
~ During recent times of not feeling so good the children have showered me with hugs and kisses....little love notes and helping hands to boot.
~ I am wearing a shirt that a friend gave me and I really like it. It my minimize my ever growing girth as when I went to the dollar store the lady in there said that I looked great and she just today noticed that I was pregnant. Ha! Okay, lay on the flattery thick will ya? What was news to me is that she just had a baby and I couldn't tell she was preggo the whole nine months. No lie.
~ Then a friend brings by bags of clothes for the children along with some canning jars.
There's some very nice goodies in there for our oldest boy. It's always a blessing to get clothes for the oldest...to later pass down the line. Yeah!
~ I feel so much better today and am hoping that tomorrow will be even better. Thank you, Lord!
~ Rest has come easier the past 24 hours. I almost feel refreshed enough to work in overdrive....almost.
~ I am delegating my oldest girl to help me with supper tonight. Ahh...it's nice having older children.

Have a great evening in the Lord!
