Tuesday

Tuesday went pretty well. We were back to getting school done. There was a lot of laundry to catch up on due to blankets and sheets needed washing from an accident. :(
I still need to go through the spring and summer clothes thoroughly and find some things for Gloria. She's the youngest girl so where are her hand-me-downs? I'll have to scour the second-hand shops if I can't find her anything.

I worked at organizing the school books in the "office" yesterday. This room houses most of our books but also computers and exercise equipment. This is the room I ignore most of the time. Well, I've purposed in my brain not to do that as much. So the books are organized and I feel like a book nazi now. "Did you put your grammar book back? Is it back in the grammar section? No, you put it on the math shelf! That's not right! YOu have to close it and not leave it folded back like that or it won't fit....." How long do you think I can keep this up? :D I am hoping that after a week or two it will be second nature to put the book back on the shelf. Perhaps on Fridays I will set aside time to reorganize what got messed up that week.

So, we worked on school quite a bit since we had a long weekend. We played outside quite a bit and Brittany took some great pictures again. I'm convinced that taking pictures of nature is a great way to learn of creation science.

The chickens are laying eggs left and right. You can hear then cackling all throughout the day...just like right now. They are escape artists and while we keep gathering them back into their coop and by morning they are back out again. It's comical. So we have an egg hung each day throughout the yard. Only thing is, Sheba enjoys the eggs too so we have to find them before she decides to gather them. She's hilarious as she gathers the eggs in a pile over at the playground. It reminds me of a dog burying a bone.

I was going to make corned beef and cabbage last night but I didn't get started in the kitchen until 5:00 and was reminded once looking at the recipe that I need longer than that. So, I made salmon patties instead. We had rice, poultry gravy and succotash to go with. It was tasty.

While Tuesday was productive, I am hoping that the rest of the week will be even better.

Good job on organizing the books. Organization seems to be my biggest challenge. Enjoy your day and God bless.
