Happy Saturday!

Wow! Where did the week go? It's been a fun week of summer. In some ways it was also crazy as well.
Yesterday this poor lady came to my door and she was in need of serious help. She had been walking for two days and didn't know where she was. She's young but normally on depression meds, of which she didn't have at the time. She's had a sad life. Please pray for Janeika please. I was able to get her help and she was headed to the hospital to get stabilized and nourished. We have so much to be thankful for! God is SO good to us.

Yesterday we had some friends come over and swim and have snack time. That was fun. We hope to do this again. What sweet fellowship for me and the children. We have a girls swimming session and then a boys swimming session. While the boys are swimming, we ladies get snacks ready to eat. Yesterday we had chips, bean dip, cake, and cherry tomatoes.

Today I went to visit my dad. His birthday was earlier in the week but with a virus that was in the family earlier in the week, I didn't want to chance him getting it. So with everything in the clear, we headed over this morning to visit. I baked him a cake as his birthday dessert.

Earlier in the week we had  our monthly ladies' meeting at church. It was a small bunch to show up this time but we still had fun! Where two or more are gathered...

We have slowly been working on home improvements here and there. We have been taking wall paper down from the dining room and living room for a while. James has been re-doing walls in the livingroom of which at one time had windows in there. So far, this looks great! I just can't wait to have this all done but is anyone ever done? :D

The rest of the time was filled with regular church services, garden work, swim time and normal chores. We did get in some summer learning as well. We hope to have more fun this coming week as well!

Have a blessed Sunday in the Lord!

Hi Susan, I am so glad you were able to help that dear lady. How scarey that must have been for her. Nancy
