Today was a very good day!  We started our day off with smoothies.

Then we worked on devotions and school. This mainly consisted of writing, reading and a touch of math.

We then had lunch. Well, remember the pork chops from Saturday? I had some left over and I cut those up to be used with lunch for today in fried rice. Now let me tell you. Lunch can't get much cheaper! The pound of rice I used was free with a coupon this past week. I used two eggs from the back yard. The tamari sauce was cheap from a coupon. I used two strips of bacon, a tad bit of oil, a tad bit of celery and onion. We are talking .50 here!

After lunch we had to head to the dentist with two of the children for some dental work. We then stopped by Walmart and a dollar store. I had some essentials to buy.

Once back home it was chore time. Today is bathroom cleaning day. While cleaning the bathroom I talked with James and he mentioned that he thought he would get off in time for us to finally use a gift certificate we had gotten at Christmas to a local BBQ restaurant. Yay!

So once he made it home and showered we were off to eat buffet there. We saw some family while there too, which was nice. We have enough on the certificate to go again, or at least pick up some BBQ and hash and make some sides at home. :)

Once home in the evening, we relaxed, listened to sermons, a few watched The Three byStooges, a few played the Wii and then we made our way to bed all by 10pm. My weigh in is in the morning. I suppose buffet was not a good choice for tonight after all. Tee hee.
