Monday

So far today has gone quite well. I think that the hardest part is over anyway. We got school and chores in. Also, Dalton had his piano lesson today. Mrs. Massa, the teacher, asked, "Do you think that all your children are gifted in music?" Well, I take that as saying she thinks Dalton may be gifted like Brittany???? I don't know still yet but we will see. I think he can at least learn a little music and be able to play something. Even if he learns just for the sake of enjoyment I'll be happy.

We are still having fun in school as well. Well.... I guess I should say that I am anyway. LOL But you know, if the teacher doesn't enjoy it how much can the children enjoy it? We are hard and heavy into insect study and plan on carrying this throughout the summer. I hope for us to classify bug, spiders, and such as well and collect them. I just have to get my hands on the chemical that was in This Old Schoolhouse's article this last issue. What an AWESOME issue! It really got us on a roll. Hopefully we can all learn and enjoy these critters this summer. I checked out some videos on this subject and they are really informative.

Tomorrow we will start our new art curriculum as well. This is from Rod and Staff and I think the children will enjoy it.
