The Shopping Trip

The days we do our big shopping trips are very eventful days! This takes a lot of planning and a lot of work as a family team! The two main places that I shop at monthly are Aldi and Sam's Club. Both places don't bag your groceries, thus the added work. Still, it's well worth the extra labor. Many dollars and cents are saved by doing this on our own. Now the nearest Aldi and Sam's club is about a 35-40 drive from our place. This is another reason for us to only go monthly! We also sometimes hit another store or two on the way back home. The whole trip, all in all, takes us about 3-4 hours. I believe though if I were to shop weekly, much more time would be spent, along with gas and wear and tear on our vehicle.

Okay, so here is what we have spent so far on groceries for the month of April:
