Sunday, March 11th

We had a great Sunday. We got up, had a quick breakfast of granola/ granola bars and headed out the door. Despite the time change, we made it there in the usual timing.
I had packed up things for the day as some Sundays we stay around church all day.
So I packed our dinner, a change of clothes for the youngest and even pillows, blankets and such so we could take an afternoon nap.

Sunday School went pretty well. We had our lesson of the fish and bread being multiplied and then we had Bible Challenge. I teach the childrens, ages 5-9.
Yesterday's sermons were really good. We are in a series on prayer. Yesterday morning's sermons was outstanding!

We had dinner in the fellowship hall. We had bbq pork chops, greens, corn and mashed potatoes. After dinner we went out to Home Depot to pick up supplies for the next few projects. We bought oil paint for the kitchen and diningroom walls. Also, we bought some spray paint to paint a patio table and chairs that are rusted. These were given to us by my parents and once we paint the table and repaint and restap the chairs, they will be good as new! Also, we bought a light to hang above the kitchen sink. It is a simple drop light that you can choose what globe you want separately. I did not buy a separate globe as I want to use an old metal collander as the globe. We put it together and I love it!

So after Home Depot, we stopped and got a doughnut from Krispy Kreme. That was a nice treat to top off our dinner.

The men had a meeting, we had evening worship services and then HOME SWEET HOME we came. :D It always feels good to come home after being gone all day. Hmmm, I guess this is how hubby might feel each day! :D
