Sick, Sick, Sick

This week has been a doozy with sickness. We've had a nasty tummy bug. First,it began with Gloria on Tuesday, Jesse on Wednesday(beginning early evening), then Joy-Anna late Wed. evening. Jesse and Joy were at it at the same time all night. Then I got it all day yesterday and hubbs got it last evening. He went to work today. With. The. Virus. He's so stubborn. Well, he's a good, stubborn man. I digress. Sorry!

So, today Brittany has it. We have 1-2 more who could get it here. One child said he had it but I am doubtful considering he was eating leftover pizza that morning. Naaahhhh, he couldn't have had it.

Brittany did an excellent job in keeping the household as I was planted on the couch. I am so proud of her. Not many 17 year olds could take over a large family, cook, clean and do laundry. I'm thankful for her too.

Oh, and my 14 year old taught the 5 year old a phonics lesson. Talk about sssssweeeeettttt. I LOVE seeing that "boy" being sweet to his little sisters.
Talk about making my heart mushy.

So, I'm back in the saddle today and I'm soooo glad. I will step in right on schedule, thanks to Brittany. Let's see. Today's bathroom day. So I'll scrub the three bathrooms today. Perfect timing, ay?

I thought I'd share my schedules with you and zone in on how things are ran around here. It's not all perfect and wouldn't work for everyone but it works for us.

Feel free to share and comment as you'd like! I love learning from others as well and knowing that someone is reading this is encouraging. Thanks to Cheryl and Heather for your comments! :)

Oh, that is hard when it goes through the family all spread out like that. Isn't it great when our kids can take over and handle things for our families when we are sick?

I hope that you have a wonderful day and weekend ahead with your family.

Terrible virus please go away!! I'm glad you are feeling better! How nice not to have to " catch up" after being sick!! There is a plenty to do every day without that! Love ya!!
