Week 3 Spending

Here's for week 3: Chips $3, cookies $5.35, floss $2, candy $4, 4 pound bag sugar 2.23, 2 packs burritos, breakfast sausage, bananas, 10 packs stir fry vegetables, sliced cheese, Mexican 5 layer dip, tortilla chips, mega rolls Scott paper towels, 2 packs Scott toilet tissue, cheese (shredded), ice cream, cookies, Total: $95.12 This concludes week 3 for me.To meet goal this month, I have 82.29. I have already spent some to conclude the month. I will post on that later once I go to the ChefStore. While we will be pretty stocked to cover the rest of the month, I will have to ignore the last sales cycle of the month in order to not go over. :D

you are doing a great job Susan! I keep thinking I'm going to ignore the sale ads, then up thinking about them all the more :P
We are still trying to come up with a "number" so we can budget better. It will be harder now I think b/c of the seasonal sales that will be starting for hams/turkeys and baking things.

It's so hard to avoid the temptation not to go over so that you can get those sales! I was at goodwill and found some great nike sweatshirts for the kids and waited to buy them because I didn't want to go over budget - today they were gone!! Oh, well! You're doing great w/food! I'm trying to use up everything I have to free up funds for Christmas presents!!
