Question #1:Can you tell what these are?
Question #2: Have you ever heard of a community towel?

The first picture is one of cloth napkins. In our quest of frugality, we use cloth napkins except for when we are behind in the laundry or have company. I pick up cloth napkins at yard sales or thrift stores. I have a variety and don't care if they match.

Now, a community towel is on a level I am too squeamish to practice at home. . We once were at a dear friend's house and were having pizza. As we four adults and eight children sat eating, a big, clean bath towel was unveiled and then passed around the table for us to wipe our hands and mouths on. We were then educated in the practice of a community towel. Now if you invite us over ,we will gladly fellowship even in a  community towel situation. Love covers a multitude of "sins". :D

We use cloth napkins every day. I also do not care if they match for us. I try to match them if we have company.

I have never heard of a community towel. That is interesting.

Have a wonderful day.

Community towel= ewwww factor. I would not say anything if handed.
In our family, small by your standard, large by most others, that could potentially be sharing things other than the towel.
I will stick to my cheap cloth napkins.
I like to wipe my hands and mouth at free will through the meal anyway.

Nope! Had never heard of a community towel. I don't think I would care for that! We do use cloth napkins though except when company comes. Nancy
