I hope that everyone is doing okay in this cooolllldddd weather. Brrrrrr
We are trying to stay as warm as possible and are wondering just how cold it's going to get this winter. One way I've been staying warm is by still doing my daily workouts. The only way I seem to get them in is to do them during our daily quiet time after lunch. Then baby Gloria is asleep and little hands and such aren't in the way of the treadmill going.
Yesterday I did The Firm Cardio Sculpt exercise video. I first heard about The Firm from the lady of the Keeping the Home blog. The link to her blog is on my sidebar. With being on a budget that didn't allow me to buy the workout videos and the fanny lifter I just forgot about it. Once again Goodwill came to the rescue! I found a The Firm exercise tape in there! I use a child's stepping stool, our sturdy coffee table, our couch and our recliner as a substitute for the fanny lifter! Neccessity is the mother of invention! Anyway, the workout was challenging and I could see how it'd work well to firm and burn calories. So I am hoping to do that workout three days a week and do the treadmill three days a week. On the seventh day I'll try to give my body a rest. Today I did a pre-programmed workout on the treadmill and it REALLY whooped me. I couldn't finish it. Next time I do a pre-programmed workout, I'll begin on an easier one. :D
I need to do more tummy firming exercises. Not that anyone could tell for a while. I probably have 8-10lbs. of fat on my tummy alone. :( Unfortunately I carry weight in my belly. I'd rather carry in my hips or legs than in my belly. But oh well, so anyway it's time to get it off. Oh, James and I are going to be married 20 years in April. I'd really like to be smaller by then.
