Jesse's Baptism

Our Jesse accepted Jesus as His Lord the week of June 13th. I say "the week of" because God had been dealing with him for a long time. Especially that week he had this burden and would not leave me alone. :) I was happy to be aggravated but kept saying things like, "let's wait and make sure...let's wait and see if you feel the same later....or why do you want to be saved?". Well, he wouldn't stop and insisted on talking about it. During church on June 13th he looked up at me and said, "Mama, I want to be saved!". I took him to James at the sound board and James took him out. They both came back in and I could tell that Jesse had been crying. I don't remember him crying much really. Even when he broke his arm he didn't cry. He might scream like a maniac sometimes but real tears? No. But that day he did cry. He was so nervous because he knew he needed to make it public. He was also nervous to be baptised. Still with all of his nervousness one thing is certain. He had PEACE~! He was so glad to know he belongs to Jesus and he won't ever see hell. I feel at peace too. It does a Christian mama a whole lot of good to know her children is heading down the right path. :)
