Hump Day!

Happy Hump day! Well, folks, it looks like we've made it to Wednesday. As I currently look out the window, I see beautiful, golden light fading, fading, fading. Well, seeing the sunshine for just a bit gave me a glimmer of hope that it may be back again in a bit. :) It's been wet and cloudy these past few days. I am seriously thinking of getting a full spectrum lamp to use in the winter. Until then, I'll hope for more sunshine and warmth. :)

Yesterday was a usual day at home. We had a lot of cleaning and some school. (Here's the sun again!!!) I cleaned the diningroom and mopped the diningroom and bathroom floors. We had our daily allowance of dishes and kitchen work as well. It was Brittany's day to do the laundry.

We had some leftover chicken leg quarters left over from Monday night and so I cooked those along with a few pork chops. Brittany made quesadillas with those, some pinto beans and crumbling cheese. I made up some tuna salad and baked bread for sandwiches at supper.

Once James made it home last night I was eager to hear about how the morning's meeting went. I was under the impression that the plan for raises was to be discussed. Not so. They talked of who they were switching to whatever position. James previous supervisor did not get the job of location manager. That really upset even me. He really deserved that! James is still not affected as he is still doing what he always does, a lot! LOL

Today we are heading to the dentist. One of the children is getting their sealants for their back teeth and another is getting a crown where a filling keeps coming out. The library are in the plans as it's just a few doors down from the dentist.

I am thinking that we'll have lemon pepper chicken tonight along with a few veggies. That will be a simple meal to help considering it's church night. Have a great day in the Lord!

I just went through having a crown put on. I hope that all goes well for them.

As my hubby is on a four ten hour day work week, we don't really have a "hump day" anymore. I guess the girls do with school.

I hope to get my kitchen and dinning area mopped today. We will see how much I have to help the girls today as to whether or not I get it done. I am also doing some baking for us and Harold's widowed aunt. She has surgery this past weekend and we only found out about it last night. We will stop and visit her tomorrow.

Have a great day with your family.
