Update on Cost Per Day

BLAH! My goals aren't working out so well, are they? Ah well! I am still satisfied that for our large family, we're not doing too terribly bad. I could do a whole lot worse. :D Here's an updated list of how we're doing. I believe we are coming in at a little under $15/day. Hmmm, should this be our new goal, $15/day? Naah, I really don't like that number, once multiplied by 30 days. Maybe I'll say $14/day as a new goal. Okay, so it'll be $14/day. YEP. How's everyone else doing? I got a batch of gals doing this with me and even beyond how much is spent per day, a whole lot is being noticed. It's amazing what you'll learn in what you're consuming once you write it out and analize it.

July 1:
biscuits and gravy $2.10
2 cans pop biscuits $.80 I made some earlier but was not pleased so made homemade... both were consumed.
chicken tostadas $2.25
