September Menu


Cold Platter

This is for the first two weeks. We will see what is on sale and what sounds good in another two weeks. I always like to plan all three meals. The "FD" beside some things stands for what I will pre- prepare and put in the freezer to pull out and have ready for that morning. I also have notes beside of what to use from what and also who is to help prepare meals. Except for Brittany, I am available to assist. She can do it all without me.

Breakfast:
pancakes (plain, pumpkin) 2X FD
muffins(cinnamon, pumpkin) 2X FD
egg burritoes 2X FD
pop biscuits and *sausage 2X *FD
ham and egg english muffins 2X FD
grits and eggs 2X
cereal 2X

Lunch:

quesadillas (any leftover meat or chopped ham added), Brittany 2X
leftover cold platter, Bethany 2X
ramen, Dalton 2X
roast soup(made from leftover roast), Mama 2X
tacos, Brittany 2X
PB&J with chicken and rice or chicken noodle soup (made from leftover baked chicken), Jesse 2X
spaghetti(cooked, seasoned meat already in freezer to go in sauce), Samuel 2X

Supper:

roast 2X
pizza Brittany, Dalton 2X
cubed steak Dalton
cold platter Bethany, Jesse 2X
fried chopped ham, pintos, potatoes and cornbread 2X
baked chicken, Samuel 2X
chicken noodle soup Samuel (made from leftover baked chicken)
oyster stew Jesse
taco soup Bethany( made from leftover lunch taco meat)
