So Busy...But Fun!

We have been very busy this past week. My goal was to get five school days done in four but we got four done in three. We had our big, monthly shopping trip on Friday. On Thursday, we had friends over for swimming and fellowship. So this left Monday through Wednesday for school.

This past weekend was all the more busy! On Saturday we all woke and dressed to make it to church in time for prayer meeting and church visitation (our witnessing program). We went out for visitation and then it was lunchtime. We brought a cold platter for lunch and so ate in the fellowship hall. We then cleaned the church. I rode with a friend to Kroger and Aldi as the rest of the family finished cleaning the church. Our family has our assigned tasks and so I had done mine. :D

We then went to visit some friends, leaving straight from church. This was so much fun! We took the salad and garlic bread to have with some wonderful lasagna. Our friends had prepared cupcakes for a family member turning 8. So we had fun celebrating that. We also had some wonderful fruit cobbler. We learned a new game! It's called Farkle (spelling may be wrong???). So we're looking at getting this game soon. It was very fun so we had great laughs while playing.

After we left there we stopped back by the church for hubby to look at the well. The well is somehow not working right. So hopefully between our Pastor's and my hubby's brains, this can be remedied.

So after all this, we finally arrived home, I think a little after 9pm. Wowser, what a busy but fun day!

Sunday we went to our morning and evening services with eating and rest in between. The services were so wonderful! Both sermons were great and the evening service included two getting baptized. What a wonderful blessing! We had many, many, many visitors, all stemming from one couple. I am amazed! I've never seen one couple be able to persuade so many to come to church. It's a true blessing!

So here we are with Monday again. After supper we are doing our Little House reading and see what we can discuss. We've done our reading and math for the day so we need to get in the Prairie Primer. I am hoping for the next three days to be even more productive as we go on a little trip on Friday. :D

Okay, that is all. I expect the buzzer to go off any sec to let me know the bread is ready.... bologna sandwiches with chips tonight!
