Monday

I got up at my usual time...dragging but I was up! James had made his sandwiches the night before for lunch since we had sandwiches for supper that night. I scrambled some eggs and served them with toast. I had just a few croutons left from when we had salad on Friday. I threw the croutons in the scrambled eggs and they were good!

We were slow going with school. We did get some reading and writing in. I took Brittany to meet with our Pastor's wife as she was going to babysit for them for the day. When I got back we did some chores. The children did outside chores and I worked inside on the children's bathroom. Friday's are usually the day I detail the bathrooms. Their's needed some extra attention.

For lunch we had meatball subs (on hot dog buns) and greens. Okay, so I was the only one to eat the greens. Who can resist kale? My wee ones. :D  After lunch we  had more of the same. We took a break around 4:00. Fortunately for me I was only doing frozen pizzas. I baked four as normally it takes 3 large homemade ones at home or almost 4 Little Caesar's.

We ate the frozen pizzas. We only ate one and a half pizzas! I suppose the children and James didn't like them as much?? I'll have to inquire.

We had devotions/ history lesson after supper. We watched a little tv and went to bed.

I love greens. Kale is one of my favorites. God bless.

I think designating bathroom detail time is a good idea!

April, we designate every room for a certain time of the week. The meatball stew is one I made for the Sorrells whenever Jill had surgery. It is good and James says it's a keeper in our household.
